The redesigned head is stronger, more versatile, has a higher accumulation capacity and an open saw box for easy maintenance. Bracke Forest also presents software for service and follow-up as an option. With the new software, service personnel can check for errors remotely.
The redesigned Bracke C16.b reduces the risk of damage to the remaining trees. The cutting zone has a new design that offers increased accumulation capacity. The open saw box makes maintenance and cleaning easy. The head also uses the same hydraulic cylinders for the accumulation and grapple arms, which means fewer spare parts.
Service and follow-up programme
Bracke Forest presents a new service and follow-up programme for the Bracke C16.b. The programme gives the operator information about the different functions of the head. In addition, adjustment of the parameters and checking for faults in the electric system can be done remotely. Using the programme saves both time and money for the contractor.
The Bracke C16.b is an accumulating head for silviculture and biomass applications. The head combines highly efficient clearing with the ability to make use of valuable assortments such as biomass. This makes the head suited for all types of mechanized felling such as sapling clearing, corridor clearing, pre-commercial thinning, thinning in problem stands, clearing along roadsides, fields and power lines. The head is equipped with accumulating and grapple arms which makes it possible to gather and stack valuable assortments. The C16.b has a patented cutting solution that provides extremely quick cuts. The cutting solution comprises a self-tightening standard cutting chain fitted to a circular saw blade.
